Well-suited for slim-line scanners, WM8181 CIS/CCD sensor image processing sub-system comes in a 14-pin SOIC package and operates from a single 5V or 3.3V or split 5V analog, 3.3V digital supplies. The device offers a 12-bit, 2 MSPS ADC with internal reference generation and a differential input for maximum performance. An optional clamp is also available to provide a flexible, simple interface-to-CCD linear image sensors. The high-speed, serial output of this device offers a maximum data output rate of 24 Mb/s and can be located on the sensor board to reduce EMI noise and increase system performance.
