Available at a price which the firm claims is typically 30% less than metal designs, the RM Series of plastic enclosures is well-suited for housing rack-mounted or standalone electronic products. The enclosures offer a variety of built-in features to make circuit board and component mounting fast and easy. Standard options include flame-retardant materials, EMI/RFI shielding, card guides for adding expandable cards, and UL/CSA vent patterns. The firm can provide custom plastic or metal panels, panel overlays, and membrane switches. RM enclosures come in two standard sizes: 14" x 6" x 1.70" and 17" x 8.00" 1.70".
