Touted as the world's first commercially-available software defined transceiver, the SB1001 single-channel digital radio is a general-purpose software radio platform that can be used to develop systems for a variety of wireless protocols and waveforms. Users can define the radio's character through software they develop and execute on the SB1001. Current digital and analog wireless protocols, as well as a variety of military communication waveforms, are supported. The full duplex digital radio system includes a dual processor TMS320C6201 DSP board, a SB3410 digital transceiver, and system configuration software.
