Universal SBC Can Be Used As A Peripheral Or System CPU Slot

Sept. 1, 1999

The flexible design of the CPN5360 CompactPCI universal processor card allows it to be configured for either peripheral or system CPU slots. Supporting Intel’s New Pentium II Low-Power module, the card provides 16 Mbytes of on-board solid-state disk storage, USB, PCI EIDE, accelerated graphics, dual Fast Ethernet controllers, and standard PC I/O plus two PMC sites for additional expansion. I/O for PMC sites and on-board devices is accessible from either the front or rear. Typical applications include broadband data or intelligent network switching; CTI servers; industrial control and automation; military and aerospace; and medical, scientific or imaging products.
