XMC Enlists NVDIA GPUs
Employing a rugged design, the XMCGA6 XMC relies on either an NVIDIA G72 or G73 graphics processing unit (GPU) to deliver high-end graphics performance for demanding applications in harsh environments. The board also supports eight-lane PCI Express for communication with a host platform and it can automatically adapt to four-lane PCI Express environments. Other features include support for up to 256 MB of GDDR3 memory (G73), dual, independent channels capable of driving RGB analog component video and digital DVI 1.0 at maximum resolutions of 1,600 x 1,200, support for RS170, NTSC, or PAL standards, and support for Windows, Linux, and VxWorks environments.
