The Hawk 1-Inch Series resolvers sport a fully housed configuration that boasts an enhanced accuracy of ±7 arcmin. Potential defense apps for the 1-Inch Series include positioning for electro-optical systems, gimbals/communication pedestals, infrared systems, vehicle transmission systems, and test equipment. Potential space applications include positioning for satellite, satellite antenna, space station, and space vehicle solar panel arrays. Features include shock handling up to 50g/11 ms, a vibration spec of 15 g, 10 Hz to 2 kHz, an operating temperature range of -50.8°C to 93.3°C, and an excitation voltage range of 2 V to 15 V. The fully housed configuration with bearing/shaft has an outer diameter of 1” and single-speed operation enables an angle resolution over a 360°+ range.
