After being exposed to light for one hour, the company's retractile extension cords will glow in the dark for eight hours. As they are retractable, the cords extend only as far as necessary to eliminate loose wire and the need to roll up long extension cords. They are available in PVC and TPE and come with plugs that light to alert users when the wire is live. Other safety features include Nema 515 plugs, twist-lock plugs, molded plugs, and strain releases. The cords are available in 14-gauge, 3-conductor and 16-gauge, 3-conductor configurations that extend on a 1:5 ratio. Customized lengths and ratios are also available. AUTAC INC., North Branford, CT.
