EIA 0201 multilayer chip varistors (MLCVs) allegedly offer the industry’s highest electrostatic discharge for their size
Protecting hand-held products for ESD, the company’s latest EIA 0201 multilayer chip varistors (MLCVs) allegedly offer the industry’s highest electrostatic discharge for their size. Both the VR063 101A120 and the VR063 101A080 specify the same varistor voltage, ESD resistance, and other electrical characteristics as the company’s previous EIA 0402 model, yet they measure 0.6 mm x 0.3 mm x 0.3 mm and are 78% smaller than the EIA 0402. Sample price for the VR063 101A120 and the VR063 101A080 is $0.05 each. TAIYO YUDEN INC., Schaumburg, IL. (800) 348-2496.
