Adding another leg of versatility, the WR series environmentally sealed rocker switches are now available with 0.25" quick-connect terminals. This promises to reduce and simplify assembly time and allow further deployment in applications requiring high-current switching. The components feature a sealed construction that conforms to IP60 for behind panel and IP67 of IEC529 standards for front panel. Additionally, their switching mechanisms for breaking light weld qualify the switches to IEC 61058. Specifications include a current rating of 15A at 125/250 Vac or 15A at 30 Vdc, an operating temperature range from -25°C to +85°C, a mechanical life of 30,000 operations minimum, an electrical life of 15,000 operations minimum for maintained circuits and 10,000 operations minimum for momentary circuits, and a dielectric strength of 1,250 Vac minimum between contacts and 3,750 Vac minimum between contacts and base.
