With a height of only 0.5 mm, these new surface-mount quartz crystals have been designed to fit onto ultra-miniature products, such as smart cards, PDAs and portable medical and commercial equipment. The CM6A-T1A series crystals have an overall footprint of 3.5 x 2.2 mm, fundamental frequencies ranging from 20 to 30.0 MHz, and high stability, low aging and low power consumption characteristics. Additionally, the CM6A-T1A offers high shock and vibration resistance. Operating temperatures range from -40°C to +85°C, with -55°C to +125°C versions also available. The crystal comes on special trays or tape-and-reels and can handle 260°C processing temperatures for up to 20 seconds. Prices start at $3 each/10,000.
