Responding to user demand, Zytronic now supplies its ZXY100 touch controller solution as a discrete chipset in 32-, 64-, and 128-channel versions covering screen sizes from 5” to 82”. The ZXY100 offers stronger through-glass performance and native Windows 7 support  including dual touch to cover core gesture recognition functions. The chipset comes as two devices: a 32-bit microprocessor with an ARM core preloaded with the proprietary PCT firmware and an ASIC-based analog front end. Additionally, the ZXY100 firmware contains a boot loader function enabling users to upload software updates as they become available. ZYTRONIC, Tyne & Wear, UK. +44 (0) 191 414 5511.
