A series of NTE-compatible industrial computers eliminates the need for hard disks. According to their manufacturer, this makes them suitable for dirty and/or vibrating environments, as well as for applications that demand minimal space. Using disk-on-chip technology, these computers provide a powerful yet flexible program for scalable, embedded solutions that can integrate seamlessly into the IT infrastructure and meet the functional and environmental needs of rugged industrial applications. They can be configured with a choice of Pentium processors with up to 128 Mbytes of memory. Available in various sizes with up to 1280-by-1024 resolutions, they also offer an active matrix and touchscreen display.
