Employing the latest control technologies while retaining original features, the Windjammer series brushless blowers can now be customized on a per application basis. The BLDC blower employs microprocessor control, an IGBT, and DSP technology to allow for real-time fault monitoring and programmable parameters. Gate drive is assigned to the IGBT to provide reliable low-speed operation. Intelligent monitoring and protection features include over- and under-voltage protection, surge and short-circuit protection, and fault indication via a LED. Custom options include a serial interface, logic inputs and outputs, an external pressure and flow sensor, and an internal differential pressure sensor. The blowers are available for 120 or 240 Vac operation. AMETEK ROTRON, Kent, OH. (330) 673-3452.
