The A3938 three-phase power MOSFET controller boasts high-current gate drive capability to drive a range of n-channel MOSFETs. It supports motor supply voltages from 12 to 50 V. A bootstrapped high-side driver minimizes the external component count required to drive the n-channel MOSFETs. Integrated pulse-width modulation (PWM) control logic, commutation logic, and synchronous rectification features make the A3938 easy to implement. The A3938 also features an adjustable crossover delay. The device comes in a 32-lead PLCC, a 36-lead QSOP, or a 38-lead TSSOP package. Pricing is $3.11 apiece in 10,000-unit lots.
