Microsoft's Visual Studio .Net (www.microsoft.com) gained additional support with the integration of the code|lab Embedded Development Environment (EDE) from Accelerated Technology, Embedded Systems Division of Mentor Graphics. The EDE is available as a plug-in to Visual Studio. It allows code|lab developers to take advantage of Visual Studio's C, C++, and C# programming languages, enhanced editor, and object browser.

This new version of code|lab, EDE v2, includes additional enhancements for easier access to breakpoints and better team development support. The per seat price for code|lab EDE v2 is $695. A copy of Microsoft Visual Studio .Net is provided free for domestic customers only.

Visual Studio has proven to be a solid cross-development platform for a range of third-party plug-ins like code|lab.
