The Windows-based SoftWire visual design tool is now available for free. The drag-and-drop interface connects forms, databases, and visual controls to devices, enabling developers to create dynamic user interfaces without programming expertise. SoftWire is great for test and measurement, but it's equally suited for general applications. Add-on software and SoftWire components also are available for the company's hardware. The software is available from the SoftWire Web site.
