Described as a rugged, EPIC single-board computer (SBC), the ReadyBoard 850 includes a SUMIT expansion connector, supporting both a single mezzanine card and multiple modules in a stack.

Described as a rugged, EPIC single-board computer (SBC), the ReadyBoard 850 includes a SUMIT expansion connector, supporting both a single mezzanine card and multiple modules in a stack. The SBC is based on the Intel GM45/ICH9-M chipset with a Socket P processor socket. Operating temperature ranges from -20°C to +70°C and the board meets MIL-STD-202 for vibration up to 11.95g and shock up to 15g. Other features include up to 4 GB of 1,066-MHz DDR3 RAM, two PCI Express x1 lanes, one PCI Express x4 lane, two Ethernet ports, two SATA ports, up to eight USB ports, VGA and LVDS connectors, and two serial ports.
