The PPM-USB2 4-port PC/104+ USB 2.0 module supports high-speed signaling rates up to 480 Mb/s, as well as 1.5 Mb/s low speed and 12 Mb/s full speed. The card supports either 5V/3.3V tolerant or 3.3V-only PC/104+ signaling via a jumper block that selects the voltage range. Operating from a 5V supply, power consumption is 250 mA typical. The card supports hot insertion and removal, and a smooth turn-on feature eliminates in-rush current induced voltage drops during hot-plug events.
