Now that time-shift recording is popular for television, the medium is making some waves in radio. Once added to your PC or Mac, the radioShark can be programmed to record any AM or FM radio broadcast. Also, listeners can use it to "pause" live broadcasts and resume them later. A few mouse clicks sets some favorite station presets. It connects to the computer via USB, which also provides the power. The fin-shaped device serves as the antenna, and it can be positioned for best reception and recording. Recorded broadcasts can be transferred to Apple's iPod or any other Audio Interchange File Format-compatible digital music player. Priced at $69.99, the radioShark is available now.
