TV Tuner Enhances Automotive Entertainment Systems

OEM automotive electronics systems supplier Delphi is deploying Microtune's MT2067 tuner in the TV receiver system of its factory-installed front- and rear-seat entertainment systems that are shipping to Europe and Japan.

OEM automotive electronics systems supplier Delphi is deploying Microtune's MT2067 tuner in the TV receiver system of its factory-installed front- and rear-seat entertainment systems that are shipping to Europe and Japan.

Introduced in December 2008, the MicroTuner MT2067 is allegedly an evolutionary analog/digital tuner chip for in-car digital TV. Based on the company's patented RF silicon technology, the MT2067 measures 7 by 7 mm and supports global TV receiver platforms including NTSC, PAL, SECAM, DVB-T, DVB-H, ISDB-T, DTMB, ATSC, and ATSC-M/H.
