The CANBus series of multilayer varistors provides bidirectional ESD protection for LED, LCD, and CANBus automotive applications. These surface-mount varistors also attenuate EMI while exhibiting subnanosecond response time. The devices feature transient energy ratings of 0.015 J, a working voltage range up to 18 V, and a capacitance value of 22 pF at 1 kHz. The series includes discretes in 0603 cases, two-element arrays in 0405s, and four-element arrays in 0612s. Pricing starts at $0.045 each for discrete components in quantities of 100,000 with delivery from stock to six weeks.
