A wide range of cables up to 1.25" in diameter can be cut to length with the Model HCA20 Mega-Cutter, a pneumatically-operated cutter. Most non-ferrous cables with copper or aluminum conductors can be cut by the unit's powerful air cylinder, which conveys a force of 1,200 lbs. onto the cable. To use the cutter, the operator slides the cable to be cut into the blades up to the adjustable length stop and closes the adjustable cable clamp. The operator then depresses two finger buttons simultaneously to shear the cable cleanly. The dual action finger buttons ensure operator safety during the cutting cycle. The compact unit measures 13 1/8" x 18 1/2" x 7 1/8" and weighs only 19.75 lbs. It requires a 90 psi air supply.
