LED Driver Illuminates Noted LED Modules

A notable feat, the FSEZ1016A LED driver meets and reportedly exceeds the stringent performance benchmarks set by LED-module guru OSRAM. The FSEZ1016A fits OSRAM’s 1W to 4W LED products. It is a primary-side regulation PWM controller and an EZSWITCH device, meaning it integrates a PSR PWM controller with a power MOSFET. The result of this integration is the controller achieves accurate constant current through TRUECURRENT technology and a tight constant voltage without using secondary-side feedback circuitry. To minimize standby power consumption, a green mode provides off-time modulation to linearly decrease PWM frequency under light-load conditions.
