Helping to make CE Mark compliance for products, SPW-2100 6 VA low-profile PC power transformers carry VDE 0805 (EN60950), as well as UL and other safety agency approvals. To achieve these stringent agency approvals, the transformers' length and height was increased by only 0.75" and 0.040", respectively, compared to firm's SPW-100 series. The hipot rating for the SPW-2100 series is 4500 Vrms from primaries to secondaries. The bobbin and shroud material is UL 94V-0 and is designed to meet the strict creepage and clearance distance minimums found in European and other world markets. The transformers are 100% tested for induced voltage (shorted turns), exciting current, open circuit voltage (turns ratio), polarity (phasing), and dielectric strength.
