Groomed for aerospace and commercial military applications, the ZD series of solid-state relays (SSRs) can handle up to 80 Vdc at 1A and can operate at temperatures from -55°C to 125°C. The SSRs employ a power FET switch and include both short-circuit and over-load protection, optical isolation, and exhibit a high off-state impedance. The relays come in a six-pin plastic DIP, and a second series, the SZD, is identical to the ZD series except for pin length. Price is $18 each in large quantities. TELEDYNE RELAYS, Hawthorne, CA.
