An extensive line of PC100-compatible memory modules has been designed for Compaq’s new family of AP Professional and SP700 workstations. The 100%-compatible memories are available in 32-, 64-, 128- and 256-Mbyte modules for the AP Series and in 128-, 256- and 512-Mbyte modules for the SP700. The higher density modules allow maximum system memory capacity due to the chip-stacking technology. The 128-Mbit SDRAM stacks, used on the 256 Mbyte module, are built with 64-Mbit SDRAM while the 256-Mbit SDRAM stacks, used on the 512 Mbyte module, are built with new 128-Mbit SDRAM chips.
