The WiLink 8 Wi-Fi and Bluetooth combo connectivity modules from Texas Instruments support Wi-Fi in the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands.

The WiLink 8 Wi-Fi and Bluetooth combo connectivity modules from Texas Instruments support Wi-Fi in the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands. The modules and software are compatible and pre-integrated with processors, including TI’s Sitara, and are power-optimized for home and building automation, wireless audio, wearables, and other Internet of Things (IoT) applications. The latest 2.4 and 5 GHz versions are pin-to-pin compatible and have an extended operating temperature range of -40° to 85°C for industrial applications. Up to 100 Mbytes/s throughput is offered with TI’s WiLink 8 maximal ratio combining (MRC) and multiple-input and multiple-output (MIMO) technology.
