In order of most influential, Darnell Group senior Analyst Linnea Brush believes Texas Instruments, Emerson Network Power, Primarion, Ericsson Power Modules, and ROAL Electronics will be digital-power leaders for 2007. The list, revealed at the recent Digital Power Forum, differs from the group's 2006 estimates in which Astec Power (now part of Emerson Network Power), Power-One, Primarion, and Artesyn held positions three through five. The digital-power leaders list is part of an annual benchmarking analysis published by Darnell Group. The 54-page volume, the 2007 Edition of Digital Power Electronics: IC and Power Converter Benchmarking Survey, is currently available.
