At an estimated price tag of $2.8 billion, instrumentation, medical and industrial technology manufacturer Danaher will be acquiring test-and-measurement instrument maker Tektronix.

At an estimated price tag of $2.8 billion, instrumentation, medical and industrial technology manufacturer Danaher will be acquiring test-and-measurement instrument maker Tektronix. The acquisition is expected to significantly expand Danaher’s global position in the electronic test arena. Tektronix will become part of Danaher’s Electronic Test platform, joining Fluke and Fluke Networks businesses.
