Boasting of very low impedance and high ripple current at 100 kHz, the TYPE MXZZ Series of surface-mount aluminum electrolytic capacitors can be used to replace large-case-size tantalum capacitors in dc/dc converters, dc/ac inverters, and switch-mode

Boasting of very low impedance and high ripple current at 100 kHz, the TYPE MXZZ Series of surface-mount aluminum electrolytic capacitors can be used to replace large-case-size tantalum capacitors in dc/dc converters, dc/ac inverters, and switch-mode power supplies. The new caps are available in eight case sizes, ranging from 4 mm x 6.3 mm to 12.5 mm x 14 mm.With an operating temperature range of -55¡C to 105¡C, the aluminum capacitdors span a 4.7 µF to 3,300 µF capacitance range and include voltage ratings of 6.3, 10, 16, 25, 35 and 50 Vdc. Capacitance tolerance is ±20%. Prices start at $0.08 each/5,000 with delivery from stock to eight weeks. For more details, contact TECATE INDUSTRIES INC., Poway, CA. (858) 513-2300.
