The LPE-3325-CST series surface-mount, current-sensing transformers are available in five standard turns ratios of 30, 40, 50, 70 and 125 in a lead-free package. With optimal performance at 100 kHz and higher, the components are suitable for use in switching power supplies, ac current detection circuits, and output supplies for control circuitry. Inductance values range from 180 to 3,000 µH at 100 kHz and 0.1V, with a maximum secondary resistance range of 1 ohms to 7.7 ohms. Operating current is up to 6A for the entire series; operating temperature range is from -40°C to 130°C; and each transformer measures just 6.73 x 8.20 x 5.21 mm with custom configurations available upon request. Pricing is $1 each/1,000. For more details, call Doug Lillie at VISHAY INTERTECHNOLOGY INC., Malvern, PA. (605) 665-9301.
