In addition to a shaft sealed from moisture, infinite resolution and flexible wire leads, Model 3046 linear motion potentiometers also feature travel ranges of just 0.15", 0.25" or 0.35" and a life span of 500,000 cycles. In addition, the compact pots also offer free shaft rotation and a variety of shaft options to meet specific design needs.
Applications for the small pots include automotive (e.g., engine valve positioning, dome light dimming and mirror positioning systems) and joystick, robotic and other industrial uses. The 3046 can also be used in various position-sensing applications where size is a constraint. Price: $5.35 each/500. Samples are available.
