Enlarging the company's current line of high-capacitance multi-layer ceramic chip capacitors (MLCCs), the Series CE capacitors now includes capacitance values ranging up to 100 µF in case sizes from 1210 to 0402, depending on the C/V value. The full line includes values from 0.47 pF to 100 µF with voltage ratings from 6.3V to 4 kV in case sizes ranging from 0201 through 3035. According to the company, MLCCs allow for lower ESR and better decoupling performance, as well as a more stable frequency response compared to tantalum capacitors. Depending on quantity, case size, voltage, and value, prices range from $0.002 to $0.50 each. For further information, contact RCD COMPONENTS INC., Manchester, NH. (877) 723-2667.
