Welding Transformers Exhibit High Isolation And Creepage

Jan. 19, 2010
welding transformers solve the problem of meeting environmental safety requirements with unique bobbins that provide up to 16 mm of creepage and more than 6 kVrms of isolation
The company’s welding transformers solve the problem of meeting environmental safety requirements with unique bobbins that provide up to 16 mm of creepage and more than 6 kVrms of isolation. For example, one transformer offering provides 5 kW of output power in a full bridge converter at 60 kHz. The primary current is surpasses 30A peak with less than 50W of total power dissipation. The component measures 120 mm x 65 mm x 20 mm and delivers an output current beyond 150A. Input voltage is 400 Vdc and efficiency is better than 98.9%. Terminations are available per user requirements and custom design samples are feasible in a few weeks. For more details, call PAYTON AMERICA INC., Deerfield Beach FL. (954) 428-3326.
