DC/DC Converter Takes On Low-Cost Telecom Apps

July 19, 2011
The UEE series isolated, open-frame dc/dc converters target high-volume, cost-sensitive telecom, networking, and instrumentation applications.

The UEE series isolated, open-frame dc/dc converters target high-volume, cost-sensitive telecom, networking, and instrumentation applications. The modules are typically 90% efficient, provide a single 3.3-Vdc output, and measure 58.4 mm x 22.9 mm x 10.16 mm in standard DOSA-compliant, eighth-brick packages. Complying with the worldwide requirements for telecommunications network voltage applications, they have a nominal input voltage of 48 VDC and can accommodate an input range from 36 to 75 Vdc. The series consists of two models: the 15A UEE-3.3/15-D48 and 30A UEE-3.3/30-D48. MURATA POWER SOLUTIONS INC., Mansfield, MA. (508) 339-3000.
