A 500-W hot-swappable power supply from Transistor Devices (TDI) raises the level of power obtainable in a 1U high rack space. Offering five independent outputs, the Zeus series supply measures just 4.75 in. wide by 13.72 in. deep, permitting three power-supply modules to be housed side by side in the rack. This combination yields a total of 1500 W of total output power or 1000 W of redundant output power.

Operating from a 90- to 265-V ac or 36- to 72-V dc input, the supply produces 3.3, 5, ±12, and ±15 V for a total output of 500 W or up to 600 W for a single output. The 3.3- and 5-V outputs are rated at 45 A, while the higher-voltage ones are rated at 10 A (+12 V), 3 A (-12 V), 8 A (+15 V), and 3 A (-15 V).

The Zeus series is available in either a 1U high shelf that holds three modules installed horizontally, or a 3U high shelf that holds up to nine supplies installed vertically.

Pricing is $390 each in OEM lots, with delivery from stock.
