The Typhoon dc-dc converters from Artesyn combine high current density with a very low, 0.3-in. package height. The family includes a 40-A, 1.8-V output eighth brick. It also features quarter bricks that offer dual outputs of 1.2 and 3.3 V or 1.8 and 3.3 V with 20 A per output. Other voltage options are planned.
