EXTRUSION HEATSINKS

Aug. 1, 1998

EXTRUSION HEATSINKS-The first 22 pages of this 72-page catalog are dedicated to a detailed technical discussion of extruded heatsinks and an offer of computer modeling assistance. The balance of the book describes and illustrates a broad range of standard products and a large number of fully-characterized extrusion sections. The introduction, entitled "Defining the Need", discusses the effect of temperature on a semiconductor and the generation and removal of heat in a semiconductor. Basic concepts and definitions are discussed in section two, while section four concentrates on designing and selecting the appropriate heatsink.
