A distribution agreement has been reached between RF and microwave specialty components distributor Richardson Electronics Ltd. and cable and connector manufacturer Times Microwave Systems. The worldwide agreement features Times Microwave's LMR cables and connectors, touted as a better alternative to corrugated copper cables for antenna feeders and system interconnects. Compared to corrugated copper cables, LMR products are marketed as offering superior flexibility, resistance to kinking, comparable attenuation and easier connector attachment at a lower cost. Times Microwave is an engineering-oriented company specializing in the design and manufacture of flexible coaxial cable.
