Accelerating software development, the Virtual Platform product family adds development tools while supporting and integrating with the company's platform-driven ESL strategy. The family consists of Virtual Platform Designer and Virtual Platform. Described as the first virtual-hardware platform creation environment based on SystemC, Virtual Platform Designer includes a graphical modeling environment, SystemC environment, Eclipse-based SystemC IDE, and automated virtual-platform software generation. A self-contained, distributable virtual app, Virtual Platform provides the executable platform model. It also includes software tools to leverage virtual-platform capabilities plus the scripting and API. Depending on configuration, pricing starts at $5,000 per seat for a one-year subscription.
