The reality of wireless power was demonstrated last week at the 2009 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES). Fulton Innovation, creator of eCoupled wireless power technology, announced its latest partnerships and showcased some eCoupled-powered devices.
The new dual-core Snapdragon from Qualcomm is a single-chip processor that targets more advanced mobile computing devices. The QSD8672 chip, announced at CES 2009, features two computing cores capable of up to 1.5-GHz operation, optimized battery life, and a full range of 3G mobile broadband and peripheral connectivity capabilities.

The FM1100, a family of worldwide legacy audio/video demodulators and multi-standard digital IF processors for television broadcast reception, introduced at CES 2009 by Fresco Microchip, Inc., employs the company’s agileSP that includes four reception-enhancing technologies: WAVe, iSAW, perfectTUNE, and smartTUNE. The devices enable convergence of hybrid terrestrial and cable television broadcast reception globally.
