The 6103 AIME and 6103 AIME/CT mobile terminal protocol (MTP) systems for testing 3GPP compliant networks now support both Generic Access Network (GAN) over 802.11 WLAN and GSM/EGPRS. This eliminates the need for separate systems for testing GAN and GSM/EGPRS requirements. Both GAN and GSM/EGPRS test capabilities come under a single user interface that provides a single point of control for the configuration and operation of the entire system as well as the unified test message logging for all cellular and GAN protocol layers. Users can automate test scenarios and control the system remotely from an automated test manager. For further information and prices, call AEROFLEX INC., Plainview, NY. (800) 835-2352.
