Now available, the 2010 release of AXIEM 3D planar electromagnetic simulation software includes features and capabilities that are suitable for large, planar antenna designs such as arrays with many elements. Design problems such as scan blindness can now be discovered and corrected. Antenna patterns for linear, circular, and elliptical polarizations, etc., plus numerous antenna measurements including gain, and current visualization/animations are now part of AXIEM 2010. Other features include seamless integration with Microwave Office and Analog Office software, proprietary full-wave planar EM solver technology, an open-boundary method-of-moments approach, unconstrained line width versus thickness ratio, and robust results from dc to daylight.
