The OTS9200 Jitter Analysis Module is based on patented Digital Phase Analysis (DPA) technology. This optical-jitter measurement instrument helps equipment manufacturers accelerate the design and production of 10-Gbit/s Sonet/SDH equipment for core metro networks.

This instrument uses DPA to deliver high accuracy levels in optical-jitter test results that verify product compliance with global communications standards from OC-3/STM-1 (155 Mbits/s) to OC-192/STM-64 (10 Gbits/s). The OTS9200 enables designers to reduce test time while validating product compliance to recommended standards. The instrument time-stamps every edge of a Sonet/SDH data stream. It removes the error sources and variables associated with phase-locked loop (PLL) circuitry found in current analog alternatives. The instrument performs both jitter generation and jitter tolerance tests.

The OTS9200 is available now with a 10-week delivery time from receipt of order. Pricing starts at $64,500.
