Debuting as the latest member of Agilent’s ENA Series, the E5072A vector network analyzer is available as either a two-port, 30-kHz to 4.5-GHz or 8.5-GHz instrument. It specifies a sweep time of 4 ms with 401 points and its configurable test set allows users access to the instrument's internal source and receivers, which extends its dynamic range of forward measurements up to 151 dB. The instrument also allows users to add components in support of a wider range of applications. Additionally, the E5072A features an output power level up to +20 dBm. Test set options and pricing include the E5072A-245 30 kHz to 4.5 GHz priced at $37,044 and the E5072A-285 30 kHz to 8.5 GHz configurable test set costing $44,247. Software options include the E5072A-008 frequency offset mode ($5,361) and E5072A-010 time-domain analysis ($6,004). AGILENT TECHNOLOGIES INC., Santa Clara, CA. (800) 829-4444.
