HCMOS Oscillators Offered in a Variety of Sizes

Nov. 10, 2014
The1.8 V HCMOS XpressO-ULTRA oscillator from Fox Electronics can be used in high component density applications with limited power options or heat dissipation concerns.

The 1.8 V HCMOS XpressO-ULTRA oscillator from Fox Electronics can be used in high component density applications with limited power options or heat dissipation concerns. The oscillators offer stability as tight as ±20 ppm and a frequency range of 0.016 MHz to 62.5 MHz, with a frequency resolution to six decimal places. They also provide low jitter in highly dense electronic environments and voltage levels match that of modern chip sets for easier integration. Package size is 5 mm x 3.2 mm and the operational temperature ranges from -40° to 85°C.

Fox’s automotive-grade HCMOS oscillators also now include three additional sizes: .2 mm x 2.5 mm; 5 mm x 3.2 mm; and 7 mm x 5 mm. Typical applications within automotive electronics systems include in-cabin electronics and proximity sensors for back-up cameras and parking assistance.
