Speakers

Weyman Lundquist has a B.A. in Engineering Sciences from Dartmouth College, an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from U.C. Berkeley and an M.S. in Engineering Management from Stanford University. Weyman been working in the field of power electronics since 1992 when he joined West Coast Magnetics. Recently he has been working jointly with the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth to study winding losses in power magnetic components. A main focus of this work has been methods to predict and to reduce winding losses in power inductors. A number of scientific and technical papers have been published and the work has resulted in a significant advancement of the understanding of high frequency winding losses. Presently Weyman Lundquist is the Engineering Manager and President of West Coast Magnetics.
