A series of compact, non-contact temperature sensors developed by Omega Engineering measure the temperature of inaccessible or moving objects and materials. The sensor’s fast response time also features high stability. Its two-wire 4-to-20-mA output is proportional to target temperature. A manual emissivity adjuster, with display, is optional. The device, which comes in a stainless-steel housing sealed to IP65, will find homes in the industrial, HVAC, automotive, and beverage industries, as well as in research fields. Applications include non-contact temperature monitoring associated with liquids, motors, plumbing, food, refrigerated rooms, manufacturing, chemical plants, and oil refineries.
