The modular ZVA110 Network Analyzer can characterize two-port DUTs with a continuous frequency range from 10 MHz to 110 GHz. Using R&S millimeter-wave converters, the ZVA110 performs up to 500 GHz. It also executes frequency-converting pulsed measurements and measures very short pulses with high resolution (12.5 ns in the pulse profile mode).
The R&S ZVA110 is based on the ZVA67 four-port network analyzer that has a range of up to 67 GHz. Two frequency converters with electronic power control have been added to cover the range from 70 GHz to 110 GHz. The electronic attenuator of the frequency converters allows seamless power calibration and power sweeps. Depending on application requirements, the DUT can connect directly via the 1-mm plug or to a wafer prober.
