Medical power supply
The 425-W single-output MU425 Series AC/DC power supplies address the complexity and unique power needs of healthcare systems such as surgical equipment, home healthcare therapeutic devices, and imaging equipment. The models measure 3 x 6.2 x 1.62 inches. They provide 300 W with convection cooling or 425 W with forced air.
Four models in the family feature a universal input range of 90 VAC to 264 VAC and outputs of 12 V, 18 V, 24 V, or 48 V. The supplies have a three-year warranty. Pricing starts at $145 each in OEM quantities. SL Power
Signal analyzer
The MS2840A signal analyzer features frequency coverage of 9 kHz to 44.5 GHz as well as close-in SSB phase-noise performance of -123 dBc/Hz at 1-GHz measurement frequency and 10-kHz offset frequency.
Various functions for measuring Tx characteristics, including wireless transmitter spurious, adjacent channel leakage power, spectrum masks, and frequency counter, are standard in the MS2840A. Anritsu
Programmable power sources
AFX Series programmable AC, DC, and AC+DC power-source models are available in power levels ranging from 9 kVA to 60 kVA. All models are based on a proprietary, all-digital, power-conversion technology platform that supports a set of formerly unavailable features and capabilities used in programmable power sources, including a direct-coupled output that allows for AC output, DC output, or AC+DC combined output modes.
All AFX models feature active power-corrected AC inputs with a wide input voltage range, allowing the supplies to be deployed anywhere in the world. Voltage, waveform, current, power, phase, and frequency are all programmable, and 99 nonvolatile setups can be stored for quick recall as part of a test protocol, reducing remote-control overhead. Electronic loads
The MagnaLOAD line of DC electronic loads includes three product series: ALx, ARx, and WRx, spanning 39 air- and water-cooled models from 1.25 kW to 120 kW+ with voltage ranges up to 0 to 1,000 VDC and current ranges up to 0 to 1,200 ADC.
PXI RF multiplexers
The expanded range of PXI 50-Ω 600-MHz RF multiplexers (Series 40-760) is available in the following configurations: dual, quad, and octal SP4T; single, dual, and quad SP8T; single and dual SP16T; and single SP32T. All of the multiplexers have versions with automatic terminations to manage VSWR effects.
These PXI RF multiplexers exhibit low insertion loss and VSWR through the use of modern RF relay technology. They are designed to ensure repeatable RF characteristics to frequencies of 600 MHz with each path having a nominally equal insertion loss.
The multiplexers are compatible with any PXI chassis and can be fitted to PXI hybrid slots in a PXIe chassis. They also can be used in the vendor’s LXI modular chassis for control via an Ethernet port. Pickering Interfaces
A/D board
The AD14-65Mx16AVE 14-bit, 16-concurrent-channel 65-MS/s A/D board serves demanding large-system OEM uses where signals on multiple time-aligned channels need to be observed with high SNR, such as radar, imaging, nuclear instrumentation, ultrasound, spectroscopy, communications systems, and multiport RF component and antenna testing.
Two onboard low-jitter RF synthesizers allow any A/D sampling rate between 20 MS/s and 65 MS/s to be specified while simultaneously outputting four stimulus clocks of a second frequency on SMA connectors that can be vectored to any combination of four external transmitters, 16 microwave pulse generators, laser modulators, or other devices. Prices start at $6,295 in quantities of two through nine. Ultraview
CMOS cameras
An expansion of the Cheetah CMOS camera line incorporates ON Semiconductor’s PYTHON CMOS image sensors with resolution ranging up to 25 megapixels. The latest sensors feature substantially less fixed-pattern noise, better dynamic range, and better sensitivity than Vita image sensors used in previous models.
Cheetah Series cameras offer many programmable features and a preprocessing capability to assist in any imaging application. Certain Cheetah models can provide better than 100 dB of dynamic range. Without vertical smear or blooming characteristics, the Cheetah is suitable for uncontrolled lighting environments. IMPERX
Automotive interference generator
The AING-5000 targets the development of automotive Ethernet BroadR-Reach systems for connected cars and other vehicles offering ADAS, V2X communication, infotainment, and other connected-car features. The AING-5000 creates continuous background noise, electromechanical switching-impulsive events, and other RFI. It saves time and money vs. using a physical EMC chamber.
The AING-5000 comes prepackaged with a set of baseline real-world measured noise events specifically designed to test automotive BroadR-Reach Ethernet. These also can be adjusted to create specific interference signals. It offers a high-impedance unit for injecting noise into two-wire automotive cabling. Spirent Communications
